Insynchq Pte. Ltd. operates the insynchq.com website and app, which provides the SERVICE as described in our Terms and Conditions.

For a better experience while using our Service, we may collect Personal Data and other information from you, including your name, email, Google and/or Microsoft ID, platform, platform version. The information that we collect will be used for licensing, to contact or identify you.

By voluntarily providing our Service with Personal Data, you are consenting to our use of it in accordance with this Privacy Policy. You also acknowledge and agree that such Personal Data may be transferred from your location to the offices of Insync and authorized third-party service providers referred herein.

We will keep any information you provide to us until a request has been made for the information to be deleted.

You may request for the personal information we collect, or request deletion of the personal information from our system, by contacting our customer support at support@insynchq.com.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you visit our Service, we collect information that your browser sends to us that is called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other statistics.

Cookies

Cookies are files with small amount of data that is commonly used an anonymous unique identifier. These are sent to your browser from the website that you visit and are stored on your computer’s hard drive.

Our website uses these “cookies” to collect information and to improve our Service. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies, and know when a cookie is being sent to your computer. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.

Third-Party Service Providers

We have GDPR-compliant data processing agreements with them.

Desktop App

When using our desktop app, we use our website to provide a page for you to add your Google and/or Microsoft account to your local machine via OAuth. This OAuth mechanism will provide an ephemeral “authorization code” that goes through our servers (but not stored) and immediately passed to the desktop app. The desktop app will then pass this “authorization code” to a Google and/or Microsoft API in exchange for a “refresh token”. This “refresh token” is the one used by the desktop app to communicate to the Google Drive and/or OneDrive APIs on behalf of your Google and/or Microsoft account, respectively. This “refresh token” never goes through our servers.

We also provide an alternative login method to add your account where our servers are not involved, in case (among other reasons) our servers are inaccessible or simply your preference.

Security

We value your trust in providing us with your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do the necessary actions.
