There's a manual way of converting Google Docs to Microsoft Word but if you're looking to automate your workflow, then Insync will definitely help. All you need to do is apply some settings in the Insync app and it will automatically convert your Google Docs to Microsoft Word!
Go to Account Settings and access the Docs Conversion tab.
Since we're looking to automatically convert Google Docs to Microsoft word, select Convert to Microsoft Office. Then, click Apply!
